The Puffins wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our approach

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably possible. We work to provide meaningful page structure, keyboard access, readable contrast, descriptive text for important images, captions supplied by video platforms, responsive layouts, and clear focus states.

Known limitations

Some older portfolio items, third-party video players, and theme components may not yet provide the same level of accessibility as the rest of the site. Third-party captions and player controls are managed by YouTube, Vimeo, or Instagram and may vary by video.

Getting help or reporting a problem

If you cannot access information or use a feature, email [email protected]. Please tell us which page or feature caused difficulty and, if you are comfortable doing so, the browser or assistive technology you used. We will try to provide the information in an accessible alternative and address the underlying issue.

Review

We review accessibility as the site changes and prioritise issues that prevent people from accessing core information or contacting us.
